Συγκίνηση στην εκδήλωση μνήμης για τα 100 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του Μανώλη Γλέζου
Σημαντικές προσωπικότητες της πολιτικής τίμησαν τον «πρώτο παρτιζάνο της Ευρώπης» στην αίθουσα «Μανώλης Γλέζος», που εγκαινιάστηκε επίσημα χθες στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο από την Πρόεδρό του, RobertaMetsola.
Αλέξης Τσίπρας: «Κάποτε η Ευρώπη χρειάστηκε ήρωες σαν το Μανώλη για να σύρουν το κάρο της ιστορίας μπροστά, σήμερα είναι καθήκον όλων μας να μην χρειαστούν ήρωες σαν το Μανώλη».
RobertaMetsola: «Είναι τιμή για το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο να γιορτάζει τα 100 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του Μανώλη Γλέζου. Ο Μανώλης Γλέζος ήταν αυτοδημιούργητος. Με εντυπωσίαζαν οι πρωτοβουλίες του και η ενεργητικότητά του με τη συμμετοχή του σε ακτιβιστικές δράσεις μέχρι και τα βαθιά του γεράματα».
Δημήτρης Παπαδημούλης: «Tο μήνυμα που στέλνει ακόμη και σήμερα ο αγώνας του Μανώλη Γλέζου, δεν περιορίζεται στο να συντηρεί τον μύθο της αποκαθήλωσης της σημαίας του ναζιστικού καθεστώτος της Γερμανίας, αλλά στον αγώνα του για να δώσει όραμα στις γενιές που έρχονται».
